Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans
  • 2-3 thick cut bacon slices chopped
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 1-2 tsp light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold butter
  • 1/3 cup chicken stock

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon and add in the onions
  2. Once the onions start to brown stir in the brown sugar and chicken stock.
  3. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add in the cold butter and green beans.
  5. Stir well to coat the green beans in the sauce.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook on low for 10-15 mins.
  7. Enjoy!
