Ingredients
Wings:
2lbschicken wings
2tspcoarse salt
1TBSPonion powder
2tsppaprika
Peanut oil for frying
Honey Hot Sauce:
1/3cupLouisiana or Crystal Hot Sauce
2TBSPunsalted butter
1/2cuphoney
1tspgarlic powder
Instructions
Wings:
Dry the wings well with paper towels
Add in the spices and toss the wings to coat evenly
Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight
Heat the peanut oil* in a deep fryer to 375°F
Fry the wings for 10-12 minutes or until they reach 165°F.
Place on a wired baking sheet to drain.
Honey Hot Sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients.
Stir until the sauce starts to simmer.
Simmer on low for 5 mins.
Add the wings into a large mixing bowl
Pour the sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat
Place the wings on a wired baking sheet
Broil on HIGH for 2 minutes or until the sauce is sticky on the wings. Watch it closely to avoid burning.
