Ingredients
12ouncesfresh cranberries
1cupgranulated sugar
1TBSbrown sugar
1tspcinnamon
1/4tspsalt
1/2cupfreshly squeezed orange juice
1/2cuppineapple juice
Optional:
1tspbourbon
Orange zest
Instructions
Rinse and drain the cranberries
Discard any damaged or rotten berries
In a saucepan, whisk the sugar, cinnamon, salt, and juices together well.
Bring to a boil while stirring
Add the cranberries
Return to a boil
Lower the heat
Simmer for 10 mins; stir occasionally
Remove from the heat
Optional: stir in the bourbon and orange zest
Allow sauce to cool at room temperature
Refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving
