Preheat oven to 400F

Sprinkle on the baking powder and toss chicken to coat

In a small bowl, mix all Dry Rub ingredients together.

Sprinkle the rub onto the chicken evenly

Spray a baking or roasting pan with nonstick cooking spray

Place the chicken into the pan skin side up
-
Bake, uncovered for 20 mins.
-
Flip chicken over and return to the oven
-
Continue baking for 20-25 more minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temp of 165 F (Just stick a fork in the bird and make sure the juices are clear, Chile!)
-
Remove the chicken from the oven, flip it back over (skin side up), and drain off any liquid.
-
Brush the BBQ sauce liberally over the chicken
-
Turn your oven on broil and place the chicken on the top rack
-
Broil for 2-3 minutes or until sauce is sticky

Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before serving

Enjoy!
